Alef Is Taking the Auto Industry to the Flying Car Era At this year's Detroit Auto Show. Alef Aeronautics' CEO, Jim Dukhovny, unveiled the world's first fully electric flying vehicle, the Alef Model A. The SUV-sized prototype is capable of carrying two people for 200 miles, parking autonomously, and flying up to 100 miles using the eVOLT electrical takeoff system. Backed by SpaceX, the Model A is slated for a 2025 release date.
