| Hey, | Before we dive into all the details in tomorrow's newsletter, I wanted to share my thoughts on yesterday's events. | | We've seen many historic moments in the past few years: Riots, lockdowns, and censorship—then Trump's indictment, arrest, and conviction. And now — an assassination attempt. It's hard to grasp the moment in history we are entering, but yesterday gave us a glimpse. If you're still in shock — that's normal; I am, too. | Trump's supporters went to a rally in Pennsylvania, the most crucial battleground state of the most critical election of our lifetimes. An innocent supporter was killed, others were seriously injured (GoFundMe is here), and Trump himself was hit but miraculously survived. Our country — and the world — are lucky he is alive. This attack is the culmination of efforts to undermine our ability to elect our leaders freely. | | The media has consistently vilified Trump, labeling him an "authoritarian" and comparing him to Hitler. This rhetoric has greenlit political violence, as seen during the BLM riots in 2020. Yesterday, the media hesitated to call it an assassination attempt, focusing instead on the weapon used to shift the conversation to gun control. Some top Democrats are even pushing for others to call the assassination attempt "staged." | Biden and the Democrat strategy has been to paint Trump as an authoritarian threat, naturally leading to the violence we are seeing now. | Plus, influential figures like billionaire and Democrat megadonor Reid Hoffman have expressed desires to make Trump a martyr, while Republicans like Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon warned about the threat of an assassination.
| One of the most tragic aspects of yesterday was that it was a surprise to no one — but how did it happen? How did the Secret Service allow the threat to materialize? Was it incompetence, possibly driven by DEI policies, or was there malicious intent? It's unlikely we'll get satisfying answers. We're diving into what we know tomorrow. | Where do we go from here? Things aren't going to get better yet. Based on everything we've seen, expect mass censorship to return as the election nears. We're in for many surprises. | But there's one thing we can do today: Reach out to your friends and family, ensure everyone is registered to vote, and if you support Trump, don't be afraid to show it. On election day, vote. | We have a few months before the election. In the meantime, our small team is working hard to scale and improve our coverage for you. We have some big news about a milestone we hit (we'll share more about that later this week). In the meantime, please support us by upgrading to a premium membership. | | You'll get access to our member-only content, all for less than the price of a coffee each month. | More importantly, you'll be supporting an incredibly small and dedicated team of Generation Z Americans who aim to disarm the dishonest media and bring truth and reason back to the media ecosystem. We need as much support as possible as we enter a truly historic few months. | Help us succeed in our mission. If you have any questions, thoughts, or feedback for me, just reply to this email. |
