| | | | WHAT WE'RE WATCHING | | π« DOJ is going to remove citizenship from Americans. The Justice Department revealed that its prosecutors intend to increasingly denaturalize individuals who have committed certain crimes, including "torture, war crimes, human trafficking, and human rights violations." This comes amid GOP calls to denaturalize NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani for allegedly lying about holding communist beliefs, though such a move is unlikely. Mamdani became a US citizen in 2018. | ⚖️ The Supreme Court smacked down a district judge. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court stayed a lower court injunction that had blocked President Donald Trump from deporting several violent illegal migrants to third countries. But a Massachusetts district judge, Brian Murphy, ignored the Court's order and instead cited Justice Sonia Sotomayor's dissent from the stay. The Court has now ordered Murphy to abide by their order and threatened to remove him from the case should he continue to ignore it. | π Joe Biden claimed European leaders are asking him for advice. The former president re-emerged from relative seclusion, speaking at a human resources conference in California. Biden said that foreign leaders were urging him to get involved in the political arena. He further lamented the destruction of his legacy by President Trump, saying, "Many of the things I worked so damn hard, that I thought I changed in the country, are changing so rapidly." | πͺπ¬ Judge ruled the US can deport the family of an Egyptian terrorist. After Mohamed Soliman — an illegal alien — attacked pro-Israel protesters, the Trump administration sought to deport his family. A judge initially blocked that attempt. But now the case has been moved to Texas, where a different judge ruled that the federal government could continue its attempt to deport the family for overstaying their visas. |

| | | EDITOR SPOTLIGHT | Why I'm grateful this Fourth of July | Good morning. Most people in history lived as subjects under kings, tyrants, or utopian ideologues who ran experiments that treated people like raw material. | The communists ran one of the largest and cruelest experiments in human history. They didn't just want to replace the government — they wanted to replace human nature. The "Soviet Man" was supposed to be obedient, godless, and fully devoted to the state. | Today, I thank God we live under a different experiment — the American one. | No civilization has embraced God, liberty, and individual dignity quite like America. And no nation has lit a brighter flame for the rest of the world. | This experiment isn't perfect, but the potential of America remains as great as the founders saw it. We are here to embrace it and to defend the very ideas that make this country exceptional, and yes, even hated, by those who fear what it represents. | Happy Fourth of July! | |
