While corporate outlets blamed "MAGA extremism," fringe-right influencers and podcasters with millions of followers on X and YouTube spread a different lie — that Israel pulled the trigger. | Candace Owens pushed conspiracies linking Israel to Kirk's death, claiming he'd been threatened over his views on Israel and that Jewish donors were pulling support from Turning Point USA just before the murder. | Tucker Carlson, at Kirk's memorial, used imagery of "guys eating hummus deciding to kill him" — a loaded line many saw as blaming Jewish or Israeli actors. | Ian Carroll, a "woke-right" podcaster with 1.3M followers, told his audience that Israel "murdered [Kirk] in front of his family." He's now saying Turning Point USA, Charlie's organization, was involved too. | Jackson Hinkle, another popular far-right influencer, publicly entertained the same theory to his audience of millions. | Why are they doing this? There's a few reasons here. | Some genuinely believe it — they've become obsessed with blaming Israel for everything. | It's profitable. Conspiracies bring clicks and outrage.
