Nine of the SEC's top 10 quarterbacks enter 2026 in at least their fourth year of eligibility, including Arch Manning. There’s plenty of hype around him after a strong finish last season. However, he does not top On3’s SEC quarterback rankings.
1. Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss
Trinidad Chambliss had to win a courtroom battle to be eligible in 2026 in a huge win for Ole Miss. He is one of the toughest covers in the country, pairing 3,500+ passing yards with 500+ rushing yards last season. Now, he's got a full spring under his belt and a brand-new offensive coordinator, which bears watching.
3. Gunner Stockton, Georgia
Ask anyone who's actually played against Gunner Stockton, and "underrated" stops applying fast. He finished seventh in Heisman voting last year as he threw 24 touchdowns to just five picks and led all SEC quarterbacks in rushing scores. Like everybody else in Georgia’s camp, his only focus this season is squarely on making a deeper run in the playoff.
7. Marcel Reed, Texas A&M
Marcel Reed has the experience with 27 career appearances and the highlight reel to match, but his 12 interceptions last season tied for second-most in the league. With a new offensive coordinator in College Station, is 2026 the year the ceiling finally matches the floor?
The SEC has plenty of talent at the quarterback position this year. Where does Manning land? What about other big names such as John Mateer and Sam Leavitt in the Top 10 heading into 2026?
