Spartan roots run deep in New England, and we'll be back in Barre, Mass., on Aug. 12, to hold one of our original events.
Participants went nuts in the past over the brutal sandbag carry and knee-deep mud. We are thinking of an even longer, steeper sandbag carry, and a ridiculous amount of mud. Sorry, but you pay us for this.

Our West Virginia event has always been a bit crazy, but we think you like it that way. The never-ending vertical, long hill climb will break the most hardened souls, and the swim typically finishes everyone off.

San Jose Spartan Trifecta Event Weekend
One of our most scenic venues, there will be beautiful meadows, wooded trails, and birds chirping. But this slice of wine country quickly becomes "whine" country due to the brutal challenges we've weaved into the landscape.

Located between the Patuxent and Wicomico rivers, Spartans are taking over Maryland International Raceway, a premier Motocross destination.
I was always skeptical of putting events on motocross tracks until we did our first one. They are literally made for Spartans. Tons of mud, long barbed wire crawls, water crossings, and rolling motocross inclines strung together with obstacles designed to make you suffer.

Texans try to do everything bigger and better, including this Trifecta Weekend at Twin Canyons Ranch, down the road from Dallas.
That's why I pushed our race director to add a 50K Ultra with 60 obstacles to the weekend to break our Lone Star State contingent and force them to live up to their lineage.
You can nail a Trifecta (Sprint 5K, Super 10K & Beast 21K or Ultra 50K) in this one weekend and qualify for the 2023 Trifecta World Championship in Sparta, Greece. Sign up here for that bucket list race.
