| | WHAT WE'RE WATCHING | | π Progressives face more plagiarism scandals. Robin DiAngelo, author of "White Fragility" and a key figure in mainstreaming DEI and the concept of white guilt, has been accused of heavily plagiarizing her Ph.D. dissertation. Earlier this year, Harvard President Claudine Gay resigned after being implicated in a similar plagiarism scandal. | π° Defense manufacturers see record profits. Amid ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, and rising tensions with Taiwan and China, the military-industrial complex is projected to more than double its 2021 profits. The industry is often criticized for its inefficiency and high costs. Some American companies, like Anduril, seek to disrupt this established sector. | ⚖️ Transgenders win a landmark case in Australia. A biological man who identifies as transgender was kicked off a female-only social media platform and sued for discrimination. The man won the landmark case, setting a precedent in the country. An Australian law professor commented, "This case sends a clear message to all Australians that it is unlawful to treat transgender women differently from cisgender women." | π️ Kamala wants to change the debate rules. After agreeing to the same rules as the previous debates, which had candidates' microphones muted between questions, Kamala wants the microphones kept on. Trump has refused to agree to the new rules, likely because his team believes the muted microphones work to his advantage. He has suggested that this shows Kamala wants to back out of the debates. |

| | WHAT WE'RE HEARING | Elon Musk says, "The European Commission offered X an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us." Former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard has endorsed Donald Trump, saying "he not only didn't start any new wars, he took action to de-escalate tensions and prevent conflict." RFK Jr's running mate Nicole Shanahan says that the Democratic agenda "risks repeating the tragic mistakes that led to the Great Famine [her] family endured in China at the turn of the 1960s." Vivek Ramaswamy says that "Kamala Harris favors a tax on unrealized capital gains," noting that "farmers and small business owners will owe taxes without having the cash to pay for them."

Megyn Kelly's YouTube channel reaches more Americans than NBC and CBS News combined. Kamala Harris is being prepped for her debate by Google's lead defense attorney in the Biden administration's lawsuit against the tech giant. California is close to approving loans of up to $150,000 for illegal immigrants to purchase homes. The Harris campaign has reportedly raised a staggering $540 million since launching. | | MY THOUGHTS | The Democrat Party Goes AWOL | Good morning. The president is missing. After being booted from the presidential ticket for his declining mental capacity, he still holds the reins of the country—but has now vanished into his second straight week of vacation with nothing on his schedule. Meanwhile, the Middle East burns, inflation squeezes American families, and the migrant crisis spirals out of control. | Kamala is a ghost—everywhere and nowhere at once. She's reciting scripted speeches, avoiding real interviews, dodging policy discussions, and offering voters nothing but empty rhetoric. This media-fueled strategy allows her to sidestep her controversial positions, like her previous support for abolishing private healthcare. | Some call it a savvy political move, but for Americans craving leadership and solutions, it's a betrayal. We're accustomed to politicians breaking promises, but Kamala makes none, leaving the nation in the dark—and that's far more terrifying. | |
