Preview of the Day Leading up to our March Marketplace, we'll feature two items of interest daily among the hundreds for sale. Opens Thursday March 5th through Saturday March 7th PUERTO RICO HISTORY & SONGS SCRAPBOOK — 5TH GRADE CLASS PROJECT, 1941 A large-format classroom scrapbook assembled by the fifth grade at **University Elementary School of Puerto Rico, affiliated with the University of Puerto Rico. The album captures island history, geography, school pride, games, scouting, and music through student handwriting, drawings, clipped illustrations, maps, and pasted photographs. The contents are primarily written in English (with the students noting that both English and Spanish were used in their education), and period spelling in the scrapbook often reads "Porto Rico."
