Hi there, Mélanie here, Founder + CEO of Ghia. March is the month when everything starts to wake back up again. New York started teasing us with a few Spring days, the sun stayed with us a little longer, and suddenly everyone remembers they like being out. Here's what's been on my mind lately: - I was recently gifted the most beautiful tablecloths from Autumn Sonata, and it reminded me how new tableware can make a meal feel entirely different. I've been looking for excuses to host.
- It's officially Spritz season in my book. I've been making fish en papillote a lot lately, using super sustainable fish from Seremonia, you just wrap the fish and a bunch of aromatics and olive oil into a little parchment paper bundle, and in 20 min you have a restaurant worthy fish, full of flavor (it's a recipe from my upcoming cookbook).
- I'm went to see Romeo + Juliet at the Armory because L.A. Dance Project was in town and I loved it. The romance of it all.
- Like everyone, I just finished reading Strangers by Belle Burden, and wow. I still can't tell if it's a book about love or a book about money, but I'm so happy for the author about all her success. We're thinking about hosting a little digital book club around it soon. Stay tuned.
And as always, I'm curious about what's felt like Ghia to you lately. I love to hear from you, just reply to this email. xx Mélanie | | Spring light shining bright on my coffee table in Paris - and yes, I took the Ghia vide poche in my purse with me | | 161 Water Street New York, NY 10038 | | | | |
