| | | WHAT WE'RE WATCHING | | 🏫 ISIS-supporting gunman dead following university shooting. A shooting at Old Dominion University in Virginia left one victim dead and two others injured before responding officers found the gunman dead at the scene. The shooter shouted "Allahu Akbar" before opening fire, and is reported to be Mohamed Jalloh, who had been previously arrested in the US for attempting to provide material support to ISIS. | 🕍 Security stopped a car bomber at a Michigan synagogue. A vehicle packed with explosives crashed through Temple Israel's preschool entrance and barreled down a hallway before armed security opened fire, killing the suspect. No children or staff were injured. The perpetrator is reportedly Lebanese, whose family members were recently killed in an Israeli strike on Lebanon. | 🕌 Mamdani holds Ramadan prayers inside City Hall. The mayor of New York City held a Muslim prayer service inside the Mayor's Office, with some identifying one individual holding up a pointed finger similar to the recent terror suspect's ISIS salute. Critics also noted that the same people who typically call for the separation of church and state are now celebrating the Muslim prayer service in City Hall. | 🇮🇷 Iran's new supreme leader remains mysteriously absent. Iranian state media released Mojtaba Khamenei's first address to the world, but only as text read by a newscaster over a still photograph. No verifiable proof of his survival has surfaced since his appointment on March 8. President Trump commented, "I think he's damaged, but I think he's probably alive in some form." |
