Dear Valued Customer,
Twenty-five years ago, we, the American people, had something taken from us.
As a nation, we suffered one of the most devastating attacks on American soil. On the morning of September 11, 2001, millions of Americans awoke to a calm late-summer morning, unaware that this would not be a day like any other, but one that would remain in our memories forever.
Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost. Families were broken and changed forever. Our first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans witnessed something few ever thought possible.
But in the wake of that day, we also witnessed something else.
In one of our darkest moments, we came together as a nation. The things that so often divided us took a back seat to something greater. We mourned together. We stood beside one another. We remembered that, despite our differences, we were Americans first.
Twenty-five years later, the lessons of that day are still worth remembering.
Today, our team takes a moment to honor those who were taken from us, those who ran toward danger without a thought for themselves, and all those who have carried the weight of that day for the last 25 years. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the first responders who answered the call that day and to those who continue to serve our communities today.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
