| Anaheim, California | Just down the road from Disneyland, things got a lot less magical and a lot more brutal as DEKA FIT SoCal became the first sold-out U.S. event in history. With over 1,500 DEKA Marks earned and 650 spectators watching the intense action, the energy was raw and relentless all day long.
Greyson Kilgore dominated the men's elite race from the jump, but the real fight was behind him, with Chaz Hatton and Glenn Racz going head-to-head for the podium. On the women's side, Lauren Weeks reminded everyone why she wears the crown, taking the win in a stacked field. | | | Dubai, UAE | Set against a backdrop of raw desert and a colosseum-like venue, Spartan Dubai was as punishing as it was stunning. Scorching 90-degree heat and shifting sand turned every step into a test of endurance, with the course twisting through the terrain and looping racers back through the festival zone just when they thought it was over. Water obstacles offered momentary relief, but the challenge never let up. Thousands of spectators lined the course, watching as athletes pushed through heat, grit, and mind games.
This was Spartan in its most brutal, beautiful form. | | | Chengdu, China | After a three-year break, Spartan roared back into Chengdu—and the heat was relentless. With high temperatures and a packed field of adults and kids racing side by side, the energy never dipped. A brand-new elite division for 7–8-year-olds brought a fresh wave of intensity, with young athletes pushing just as hard as the adults. Families packed the venue, turning it into a full-force Spartan celebration of grit across generations. | | | Shanghai, China | Shanghai set the stage for a Kids showdown, and these young athletes showed up ready to tear through grass, farmland, and muddy backroads. The brand-new elite division brought next-level intensity, proving that grit starts young. From first-time Spartans to seasoned mini-warriors, the energy was fierce, the obstacles were real, and the future of Spartan looks strong. | | This week, we honor the backbone of the Spartan community—our volunteers. Your grit, drive, and dedication are what power every race. You don't just support the experience. You elevate it. | | | | |
